
MUMBAI, December 22: Veteran international Ashok Pandit stole the thunder at the four-day XIV Maharashtra State Shooting Championship at the Municipal Rifle Range, Worli.
He won all five events breaking the Commonwealth Games record at Auckland of 583/600 with a score of 584 in the Centre Fire Pistol event. Vishwajeet Shinde scored a record breaking double, improving on the National Games mark of 570/600 in the Air Rifle event with 571 and the Free Rifle three position with a score of 1110/1200. He held the previous best of 1106.
