‘Aussies pretty fed up with Harbhajan’

Renowned columnist Peter Roebuck on Wednesday deplored Australian opener Matthew Hayden’s ‘rude’ remarks against Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh and said it was high time the home team improved its behaviour.

“Well, they (comments on Harbhajan) were a bit rude. The young man is a guest in the country and must be treated with hospitality”, Roebuck said.

“I think they are pretty fed up with Harbhajan particularly, and I am not sure why Hayden felt the need to say that publicly”, Roebuck told CNN-IBN.

He felt both sides should concentrate on cricket. “I think both sides should concentrate on cricket, that’s my point”.
