BRISBANE, NOV 4: Pakistan were underdone for a tough, five-day cricket Test on a greenish Gabba pitch, Australian captain Steve Waugh said today.Waugh leads Australia in his first home Test as successor to Mark Taylor in tomorrow's opening match of a three-Test series against Wasim Akram's Pakistan. While Australia recently returned from a three-Test series in Sri Lanka and a one-off Test against Zimbabwe, Pakistan have been largely inactive at Test level this year.Compounding matters is that Pakistan has not overly impressed in their lead up form to the Test, losing their only four-day match by 112 runs to Queensland on Tuesday.``They haven't played a Test match for six or seven months and I think that's got to be in the back of their minds and here they've only had one (four-day) tour game,'' said Waugh.``So I would say they are a little bit underdone in regards to Test match cricket and tough four or five-day cricket, so that will come into calculations tomorrow when we toss the coin,'' headded.Waugh said the Gabba pitch had a ``fair bit of grass'' and he expected early bounce, but he added the Australian batsmen did not fear the scorching pace of the Rawalpindi Express Shoaib Akhtar.``We're not worried about Shoaib,'' said Waugh. ``He's quick, but we've faced quick bowlers before (Curtly) Ambrose, (Courtney) Walsh, (Wasim) Akram, (Alan) Donald. We might get hit a few times, but that's Test match cricket.''On the chucking allegations, which have largely been denigrated by the Australian players and press, Waugh said: ``It will probably make them play better, they are used to controversy, I don't think they would like to go into a game without any controversy, they wouldn't know what to do.''Wasim Akram put some ginger into the Test build-up when he declared that Akhtar, who has 28 wickets from 10 Tests, is the best bowler in the world.``He (Akhtar) is the best bowler in the world and he's going to show it in the Test match. We don't have to say much about him because he's goingto perform and we will talk about his performance,'' Akram said.Akram also predicted Pakistan would win the Three-match series.Teams (from)Pakistan: Wasim Akram (captain), Moin Khan (vice-captain), Saeed Anwar, Mohammad Wasim, Ijaz Ahmed, Yousuf Youhana, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Abdur Razzaq, Azhar Mahmood, Mohammad Akram, Shoaib Akhtar, Saqlain Mushtaq or Mushtaq Ahmed.Australia: Steve Waugh (captain), Shane Warne, Greg Blewett, Damien Fleming, Adam Gilchrist, Justin Langer, Glenn McGrath, Colin Miller, Scott Muller, Michael Slater, Ricky Ponting, Mark Waugh
