
BANGALORE, July 24: The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has been approached by the Bangalore City Corporation (BCC) to provide funds for stepping up the city’s infrastructure under the USAID Indian Urban Environment Infrastructure project. The USAID consultant, P U Asnani, who is currently in the city, is conducting a study on the present infrastructure and services offered by the BCC. The package will consist of technical assistance in the form of international experts coming to the City and also the training of the BCC staff abroad under the project. It will also provide suggestions on revenue generation.
