Top seed Mahesh Bhupathi and Australian Paul Hanley were shocked by Americans Andy Roddick and Mardy Fish in the first round of men’s doubles event at the $525,000 Indianapolis Tennis Championships.
Bhupathi and his new doubles partner, Hanley, suffered 7-6 (7-2), 4-6, 8-10 loss after starting well in the opener yesterday. Meanwhile, Karan Rastogi also bowed out in the first round of the singles event at the $50,000 ATP Challenger Series tournament in Lexington, USA. He lost 1-6, 4-6 to Breandon Evans.
