Rick Leach (USA) and Manon Bollegraf (The Netherlands), the fifth seed, defeated them 6-3, 5-7, 6-4. Thus, the Indian challenge in the mixed doubles has come to an end.
Yesterday, Leander Paes and Ruxandra Dragomir of Romania, lost in the quarterfinals. Playing against third-seeded pair of Andrei Olhovskiy of Russia and Latvian Larisa Nieland, Paes-Dragomir pair went down 3-6 6-7 (5-7).
