TIRUCHI, Nov 24: A group of students who had been admitted to the Bharathidasan Institute of Engineering Technology (BIET), along with their parents staged a dharna in the Bharathidasan University campus here urging the varsity and the Government to come to their rescue. It might be noted that the All India Council of Technical Education had declined to issue the letter of viability for starting BIET this year.
