State Bank of Hyderabad opens branchA computerised branch of State Bank of Hyderabad was inaugurated in Sector 4, Panchkula, on Wednesday by the Chief Administrator, HUDA, P. Ragvendra Rao.This is the fifth branch of the bank in the state and 849th in the country. Setting up of seven more branches of the bank has also been proposed. Speaking on the occasion, Rao expressed hope that the bank will reduce interest rates on loans advanced for constructing houses. The Chief Financial Controller, HUDA, S C Kansal said that Rs 50 lakh from HUDA funds will be deposited in the bank. The bank's Deputy General Manager, J R Devagan, Assistant general Manager, K Sanjeev Reddy and the branch manager V K Panjiara were also present on the occasion.
