“Three lakh employees of the state will support Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) in the forthcoming Lok Sabha Elections,” claimed Gopal Dass Verma, Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh All Employees Joint Action Committee. In a press statement issued today, Verma said the grant of 10 per cent interim relief to the state employees is commendable.

Appreciating Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal’s gestures of giving benefits of Rs 700 crore to the state employees, pensioners and labourers, Verma announced the state will also be fill up 2,200 vacant posts soon.

The Chief Minister has assured as soon as the Punjab Pay Commission report is implemented by the Punjab government, Himachal Pradesh will release the pay scales on the same pattern, he added.
