NOVEMBER 7: Block Boys Club B (Parel) defeated BPT 2-0 in the final of the Late Bro Remedios floodlit rink football tournament, conducted by Don Bosco, Matunga, at their basketball court on Saturday.

Block Boys played a fast game and scored in the 8th minute when a pass by Santosh More set up Manuel D’Souza, who scored a gem of a goal. They consolidated the lead in the second half in exactly reverse fashion, Manuel passing for Santosh to score.

Results (semis): Block Boys (Parel) 2 bt Santana 1; BPT 3 bt New Labour Camp (Sewri) 1.
