The Bombay High Court on Friday stayed trial in the serial bomb blast cases that occurred in the city between December 2002 and March 2003.Justice H.L. Gokhale and Justice V.K. Tahilramani also referred the matter to a larger bench after prime accused in the Mulund blast, Saquib Nachan, moved the court with four applications seeking transfer of the trial from the designated POTA court to any other court in Maharashtra.‘‘The constitution bench will decide on whether a confession of a co-accused can be used against an accused, and till then the trial is stayed,’’ said Nachan’s advocate Mubin Solkar. —(PTI)
