Brojen Singh struck a first-half hat-trick and Arjun Halappa slammed in three more goals as Indian Airlines toyed for a Bihar 11-1 win to maintain their unbeaten record in a Pool-A match of the 61st senior National hockey championship for the Rangaswamy Cup at the Begumpet Hockey Stadium here today.

Brojen joined the hat-trick club hitting four goals for the defending champions. Nursing injury, which kept him in the reserves bench in the second half, Brojen struck in the 14th, 19th, 22nd and 28th minutes after Arjun Halappa had given the defending champions lead in the 12th minute.

After giving Airlines the early lead, Halappa emerged on the scene netting the ball in the 23rd minute to make the scoreline 5-0. Shakeel joined the party scoring of a penalty corner in the 39th minute. Girish Pimpale had his turn in the second half with twin strikes in the 48th and 53rd minutes.
