MUMBAI, JAN 29: BSES has reported better operational results with the turnover rising to Rs 1,709.13 crore for the nine-month period ended December 1998 against Rs 1546.31 crore, an increase of 10.5 per cent. The increase in turnover is mainly due to increase in other income (including income from contracts and EPC groups) at Rs 374.28 crore against Rs 102.12 crore same period last year.The company has also recorded a net profit of Rs 190.43 crore compared to Rs 182.68 crore mainly on account of an increase in profit after the rise in contribution from contracts and other income.
