New Delhi, NovEMBER 21: BSF and IHF Juniors entered the semi-finals of the Nehru-ONGC hockey tournament here today. In quarter-finals, BSF beat Punjab Police 4-2 and IHF Juniors humbled Sikh Regimental Centre 3-0.

BSF grabbed lead in 23rd minute through a penalty corner goal by Christopher Ekka. However, their moment of joy was shortlived as Daljit Singh’s penalty stroke conversion three minutes later brought Punjab Police back into play.

BSF once again took the lead with Sushil Kumar pushing in a stroke in the 30th minute. A never-say-die Punjab Poice equalised again through Sharanjit Singh penalty corner hit. But goals by Harbhajan Singh and Ekka from penalty corners gave BSF the win.
