Taipei, Nov 14: Jeev Milkha Singh fired two under par 70 with two birdies and 16 pars to finish a respectable 17th position while New Zealand's Michael Campbell completed his comeback year in fitting fashion when he conquered the $1.3 million Johnnie Walker Classic here.Jeev was a model of consistency as he hit 18 greens and made two birdies to return to good form and pocket Rs. eight lakh for his effort. The other Indian in the fray Amandeep Johl scored a 73 to finish 55th in the strong field of Asian, European and Australian Tour players.Campbell, who has fought his way back to the top following a wrist injury, beat young Australian Geoff Ogilvy by a stroke at the Westin resort, after closing with a two-under-par 70, for a four-round total of whooping 12-under- par 276.Defending champion Tiger Woods of the united states, looking for his fifth tournament victory in a row, finished on a four-round aggregate of seven under for the sixth place, after carding a battling 71.Indians started thetournament on a good note before faltering midway through, but finished on a decent note.
