NEW DELHI, December 6: The Central Bureau of Investigation has taken up investigations into the theft and tampering of answersheets of the Clerical Grade Examination (1998).

The theft was detected on November 23 when the strong room of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) at the CGO complex was opened. The staff found that some answer scripts were missing and others had been tampered with. All the answersheets of the examination had already been evaluated on the computer.
