Railway project to Kashmir, extending rail link from Jammu to Udhampur, is being given top priority with extra budgetary allowances as the project would help in development of J-K and create job opportunities, Railway Minister Nitish Kumar said today at Anantnag, 55 km from here. ‘‘The project would help create more jobs as we would need temporary and permanent labour for it which would go a long way in developing the state’s economy,’’ he said after giving away compensation cheques to people whose land was acquired for constructing a railway station in Anantnag.
