INDORE, NOV 13: Skipper Rajesh Chauhan’s five-wicket haul helped Madhya Pradesh bundle out Railways for 216 runs and gain a 322-run lead on the penultimate day of the Central Zone Ranji Trophy match today. Following on, Railways were 3-0.

Resuming at the overnight 55 for one, Railways were struggling at 119-5 at lunch. Captain Prahlad Rawat (58) and Kulmani Parida (23) added 69 runs for the eighth wicket but it was too late. Only Sanjay Bangar (34) and Abhay Sharma (37) contributed.

Big win for Rajasthan
JAIPUR: Skipper and medium-pacer P Krishna Kumar captured five wickets for 31 as Rajasthan crushed Vidharba by an innings and 74 runs on the third day of the Central Zone league match.

LUDHIANA: Reetinder Sodhi struck an unbeaten 104 (11×4) and anchored the innings with two century partnerships as Punjab scored 276-2 against Delhi on the opening day of their North Zone tie.

Seamers V Ghag (4-24) and Sachin Kulkarni (3-42) dismissed Jammu and Kashmir for 221 runs in their first innings but Services were reeling at 20 for three in reply on the first day of the North Zone league.
