As part of a series of interactions with minority communities, the National Commission for Minorities has invited around 50 Catholic clergymen for a meeting in Kochi on February 14.

The country’s leading demographer Prof Ashish Bose will address the community leaders on the basis of his scientific findings from the report of census on religions released by the government last year.

Bose and his team are reported to have dwelt at length on the controversy regarding the mass conversions by the Christian missionaries.
