It will submit a report to the PMO which is considering a proposal for deployment of CISF at the university’s important installations following the theft of the Nobel medal. The team visited the Tagore Memorial Museum and other buildings in Uttarayan complex and held meetings with the university’s Vice-Chancellor Sujit Basu. It was learnt that both university and PMO have agreed to the deployment of CISF and the monetary involvement is being worked out.
