SATARA, Dec 22: The Jarandeshwar Cooperative sugar factory, at Chimangaon in Koregaon was inaugurated by Chief Minister Manohar Joshi yesterday. Joshi arrived at Chimangaon to attend the function. Harshavardhan Patil district guardian Minister, Babasaheb Purandare, Udayanraje Bhosale MLA, Shamburaje Desai, Hindurao Naik Nimbalkar accompanied Joshi. Chairperson Shalinitai Patil welcomed the guests.
Joshi addressed a rally in the factory complex. The factory has been set up at the cost of Rs 40 crores. The State Government and the State Development Corporation have chipped in with Rs 12 crores.
