BANGALORE, Feb 26: The Karnataka Chief Minister J H Patel has requested the co-operation of Kannada organisations and the people in developing Kannada in the State. While inaugurating the 67th All India Kannada Sahitya Sammelana he said the Government has taken various steps to develop the language at various levels and has urged the Union Government departments in the State, banks, Doordarshan and All India Radio to use Kannada as link language in their official correspondence.
