CHANDIGARH, Nov 12: Faced with the problem of absenteeism, the Haryana government has installed computerised attendance recording system at the Civil Secretariat and the new Secretariat complex to record the time of entry and exit of the staff in its offices. In a communication to all Financial Commissioners, Administrative Secretaries, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, all Joint Secretaries, Deputy Secretaries and Under Secretaries, Senior Secretaries and Private Secretaries of Ministers, all Superintendents and Deputy Superintendents and branch incharges, Chief Secretary R.S. Verma has directed them to inform their staff about the computerised attendance recording system.He said the government made arrangements to click photographs of staff members for identity cards for the new system at the Civil Secretariat from November 16 to 18 and at New Secretariat on November 19 and 20. The officers and employees of all those departments which are situated in these two secretariat complexes would be covered under the new system.
