The newly-appointed JD(S) state working president H.D. Kumaraswamy accused the Congress of not keeping its power-sharing promise as per the agreement reached between Sonia Gandhi and H.D. Deve Gowda. He, however, refused to divulge its details.

After taking charge as the working president, Kumaraswamy said he would not let go his earlier demands on expanding the ministry and appointing heads to various boards and corporations. On KPCC president B.Janardhana Poojary’s demand that JD(S) should make the agreement public, he said the agreement was reached between Sonia and Gowda. ‘‘Is Poojary bigger than Sonia?’’ he asked.
