Cong silence on Bihar fodder scam significant: Advani

SHIMOGA, May 23: The BJP National President L K Advani, on Thursday said that he was surprised the Congress chose to remain silent about the multi-crore Bihar fodder scam, in which Chief Minister Laloo Prasad Yadav is allegedly involved.

Talking to mediapersons at Sagar, Advani said the Congress’s refusal to clarify its stand on the issue was significant.

He said the Communists, despite knowing that the BJP might come to power once the UF government is pulled down, had expressed their stand against the scam. Advani said the four-day-old Ratha yatra was an exhilarating experience.
