VADODARA, Feb 15: City-based consumer organisation Jagrut Grahak will launch a Consumer Awareness Campaign’ by organising a consumer awareness rally in the city on February 27. State Food and Civil Supplies Minister Jaspal Singh will flag off the rally from the Polo Ground at 9 am.

The rally will be declared concluded by Mayor Bharti Vyas at the Police Parade Ground at noon, after it passes through Khanderao Market, Nyayamandir, Mahatma Gandhinagar Gruh, Amdavadi Pol, Raopura Tower and Kothi.

The participants in the rally will include school and college students, teachers, women, youth and members of Jagrut Grahak as well as representatives of various social fora. Banners exhorting protection of consumer rights and posters carrying guidelines for the consumers will be put on display as part of the rally.
