A police patrol party from Bengal has been booked for running over a stray dog near Bagdogra airport in Siliguri. An inquiry is underway to determine whether rash and negligent driving was responsible for the dog’s death, which succumbed to its injuries in a veterinary hospital.SP, Darjeeling, Rajiv Mishra confirmed that a complaint has been lodged at Bagdogra police station against the offending police car and an inquiry is on. —(ENS)
