Cops have no clue about Chaturvedi’s whereabouts

The whereabouts of 28-eight-year-old entrepreneur Manish Chaturvedi, who was travelling in the Maruti Swift involved in the crash, are not known. According to the police, after the accident, Chaturvedi was admitted to the ICU of Cooper Hospital at Vile Parle with serious head injuries and multiple fractures. But he was shifted from the hospital by his family in the afternoon after which the police could not trace him.

“He was admitted to the ICU with serious head injuries. We conducted preliminary tests and started treatment. But we do not know where he could have been taken as there is no such procedure where the family needed to inform us. He might have been taken to any of the big private hospitals,” the RMO at Cooper Hospital said.

According to one of the youngsters who survived the accident, Chaturvedi was found unconscious after and rushed to the hospital by his friends and family. “He was bleeding profusely and was in very bad shape. We helped him to get out after the accident but do not know where he was taken,” he said.
