Inspector General (Varanasi Zone) Kamal Kumar Saxena has ordered an inquiry into the alleged address to partymen by controversial MLA Mukhtar Ansari’s brother Afzal Ansari from inside the Ghazipur jail.

I have also asked the local intelligence unit and circle officer to prepare separate reports,” he added.
Sources said the police were also looking for persons who were present in the meeting to collect more details about the address. It may be mentioned that both Afzal Ansari and his brother Mukhtar Ansari are presently lodged at the Ghazipur jail in connection with BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai’s murder case.
