The CPI(M) on Tuesday demanded immediate removal of Civil Aviation Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy from the Cabinet for ‘‘milking funds’’ from the AAI. It also asked for an inquiry into how many ministers were resorting to ‘‘such unethical practices’’.

A statement issued by the politburo said that Rudy ‘‘has been misusing his office for milking funds of the AAI for his personal use’’ and that other ministers in the Cabinet were also ‘‘brazenly siphoning off funds from PSUs’’. — (PTI)
