MUMBAI, December 17: Suburban services on the Central Railway were disrupted today for the second day running when a wheel of an empty wagon broke loose between Dadar and Matunga. The train was on its way to the Dadar yard.
A CR spokesperson said the incident occurred at 2.00 pm on the up through line, as a result of which all four lines were blocked. Trains between Dadar-Kurla were affected between 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm.
The Central Railway operated services between CST-Dadar and Kurla-Kalyan during the period.
Services returned to normal at around 4.00 pm.
