Two cases of house break
In two separate incidents of house-break reported on Wednesday night, miscreants decamped with goods and cash worth Rs 1,07,350. According to the police, ornaments and cash totalling Rs 6,500 was stolen by unidentified persons from a locked house in Niti Park Society in the J P Road area. The police said that miscreants entered the house by breaking open the lock of the main door. In the second incident, shutters of the New Panchmahal Tyre Shop on Rama Kakani Dairy Road in Chhani area were broken and 17 tyres worth Rs 1,00,850 stolen.
Liquor seized
The city police seized 56 litres of country liquor worth Rs 1,150 and 18 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor worth Rs 3,335 during raids at different parts of the city on Thursday. Four people were also arrested in an inebriated state.
