Shehla murder case: CBI seizes documents of proposed 5-star hotel

Shehla was killed on Aug 16 but the probe agency has failed to make any headway in the case.

CBI,which is probing the murder of RTI activist Shehla Masood,has seized from the headquarters of Madhya Pradesh Tourism here,some documents related to a five-star hotel project,opposed by her.

CBI sources said on Monday that documents seized by the investigating agency include the detailed project report for the proposed hotel in Bhadbada road.

They said the documents will be sent to the crime branch of the CBI at New Delhi where they will be scanned.

Masood had raised objections to the construction of the five-star hotel following which it was put in cold storage.

She was killed outside her Koh-e-fiza residence on August 16 but till now there has been no headway in the case investigations. The CBI has been probing the killing for last five months but it has failed to find any clue.
