Housewife hangs to death

* A housewife, tired of husband’s harassment, hanged herself to death on Sunday afternoon. Brijesh Sahu was married to Sangeeta three years ago at Allahabad. About two months ago the couple came to live at Byculla along with Sahu’s cousin brother and his family. Often Sahu used to harass Sangeeta and demand money from her parents. Sick of constant harassment, Sangeeta went to the loft of the house and killed herself. The Agripada police have arrested Sahu on charges of abetting suicide.

Monday as one of the robbers dozed off while the other was busy with his act. However the duo managed to escape.

The culprits managed to enter the building of Gandhi Indus Financial Services on the pretext of delivering a parcel. After entering the building they tied the watchman, Prakash Bhate to a chair, after overpowering him . As one of them were ransacking the office, the other sat near the watchman and surprisingly fell asleep. The alert watchman somehow managed to free himself and raised an alarm. Before people could gather to the cries of the watchman, the duo escaped.
