The spiralling international oil price has led India’s crude oil import bill to jump by nine per cent to Rs 75,387 crore during the first 11 months of the current financial year.
India imported 82.3 million tonnes (MT) of crude oil during April-February for Rs 75,387 crore as against 74.942 MT imported for Rs 69,113 crore in the same period of previous year, petroleum secretary B K Chaturvedi.
