Daewoo sales cross 6000 units

MUMBAI, APRIL 2: Maintaining continuous rise in sales sincethe launch of Matiz in the Indian market Daewoo Motors India Ltd (DMIL) has sold 6064 units of Matiz including 211 unit for exports in the month of March this year. Overall sales of Daewoo cars has touched 6,215 units.

As against 10,121 cars in 1998-99 DMIL has increased its sale by four times to 40,217 cars in 1999-2000. At the end of last fiscal (1999-2000) Daewoo has sold 37,059 units of Matiz including exports of 1196 units to European and neighbouring countries.
