Mr Singh said counting of votes will be taken up on June 5 at Dahanu and Mr Ganesh Patil would be the returning officer for the constituency. There were at least two sensitive polling booths in the constituency at Ambesari and Kansarodi, Mr Singh said.

The constituency has about 200 thousand voters, of which nearly half are women. The election machinery was all set for the elections and sufficient arrangements had been made to ensure peaceful polls, he said.
