Delay in transit route

The ongoing tension between India and Pakistan is expected to further delay the issue of a transit route through Pakistani territory for Indian goods and material for reconstruction activity in Afghanistan.

“Any tension in the region is bound to affect other areas just as problems in Afghanistan affect other countries in the region. The tension between India and Pakistan is bound to impact the issue of transit,” vice-chairman and minister of finance of the interim administration of Afghanistan Hedayat Amin Arsala said here.
