
Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilisers Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa has urged Punjabis living abroad to set up industries in India and Punjab. The Minister, who inaugurated the International Punjabi Convention held in Dubai on January 24-25, said Punjabis were playing a key role in the socio-economic activities of the countries wherever they live.
The meet was attended by participants from India, UK, USA, Iran and Pakistan. The Indian delegation included Tarlochan Singh, Chairman of NCM, Bishan Bedi, Raj Babbar and Vikram Singh Sahni, president, World Punjabi Organisation.
