Digvijay Singh is on a roll. While his fellow professionals faltered and fell by the wayside, the Meerut pro carded a second consecutive four-under 68 to jump into the lead at a nine-under-par 207 going into the final round of the Hero Honda Masters, which will be played at the Delhi Golf Course tomorrow.
An eagle on the par-five first kickstarted Digvijay’s round and he immediately grabbed the lead, though a bogey on the third saw him momentarily lose this advantage.

Digvijay then picked up birdies on the sixth and seventh holes to make the turn at a three-under 33. He then birdied on the par-four 10th, where he missed holing his second shot for an eagle and tapped in for his birdie, bogeyed the par-three 12th hole, birdied the next but finished with yet another bogey on the 16th hole, where he missed a small putt for par.
American Gary Rusnak, who started the day at a level-par after 36 holes, carded a seven-under 65 to tie with Jyoti Randhawa — who shot a four-under 68 — for second place.
Another player who carded a low number to move up the leaderboard was Rafael Ponce, who carded a five-under 67 after opening rounds of 74 and 69. He tied Arjun Atwal to finish the day with a total six under par 210.
Unho Park, Anthony Kang and Jeev Milkha Singh are a further stroke behind at five-under 211 for the tournament.
