China has objected to taking India as a surrogate country by the United States to determine the prices of Chinese products and expressed ‘serious concern’ over Washington’s decision to slap hefty anti-dumping duties on Chinese colour televisions, the state media reported on Wednesday. ‘‘It is utterly unjustifiable that the US still uses India as a third surrogate country to calculate the prices of Chinese products,’’ an official of the ministry of commerce said here.
