PATIALA, SEPT 13: Manisha reigned supreme in the cadet and junior girls section, respectively in the ongoing Patiala District table tennis championships which is being played at the DCW Staff Institution Club. Manisha of Kendriya Vidyalaya (2) beat Yashpreet (TKS) 21-19, 18-21, 21-16 to the cadet final while her victim in the junior section was Neha (KV2 DCW) whom she defeated in straiht two set 21-18, 21-19.

The sub-junior title went to Sarika who outplayed Neha 15-21, 21-18, 21-17.Results: Girls: Cadet: Singles (semifinal): Manisha Sharma (KV 2 DCW) bt Ankita (KV2 DCW) 21-16, 21-17; Yashpreet Gulati (T.K.S.) bt Neha Sharma (KV2 DCW) 21-18, 21-19. Final: Manisha (KV2 DCW) bt Yashpreet (T.K.S.) 21-19, 18-21, 21-16. Boys: Cadet: Singles: Kamaljit (Sri Guru Harkishan School) bt Shiv Parshad (KV2 DCW) 21-18, 21-19; Manish Saini (KV2 DCW) bt Harpreet Sidhar (KV2 DCW) 21-18, 21-16. Girls: Sub-junior: Singles (semifinal): Komalpreet (Pheel Khanna) lost to Neha (KV2 DCW) 21-18, 15-21, 19-21; Yashpreet (T.K.S.) lost to Sarika Sharma (KV2 DCW) 21-18, 17-21, 16-21.
