Vadodara: Medium pacer Yousuf Pathan took a match haul of 10 wickets as Baroda crushed Bengal by an innings and 59 runs here today. The hosts pocketed six points, which includes a bonus point for the innings win. Pathan returned match figures of 10/119. Resuming at overnight 1/1, Bengal were bowled out for a paltry 86, with Pathan taking five wickets conceding just 36 runs.

Reddy scores century

Anantapur: Prasad Reddy scored an unbeaten 103 as Andhra Pradesh ended their second innings at 213 for five and drew with Uttar Pradesh. Facing a target of 270 runs, Reddy stood tall. He received valuable support from SK Varma who made 89 runs with 14 fours. Earlier, Uttar Pradesh, resuming their second innings at the score of 103 reached 297 with the help of captain Mohammed Kaif’s unbeaten knock of 122. Andhra got three points on the basis of the first innings lead and Uttar Pradesh obtained one.
