The BJP on Saturday asked the Congress and Left parties to take a final stand on the Indo-US nuclear deal and end the uncertainty over the issue.“Such instability and uncertainty is not good for the country. Hence both the Congress and Left parties should take their final stand on the nuclear deal in the interest of the country,” senior BJP leader L K Advani told reporters here. He said the deal should be ‘re-formulated’ as the country could not accept any ban on nuclear tests.Later addressing a women’s rally, organised by the party on World’s Women’s Day here, Advani said the BJP was not opposed to having friendship with the US, unlike the Left parties. But it was opposed to any ban on India going for any further nuclear tests like the Pokharan-II, he said.
