CHENNAI, January 28: The price of vegetables, which had been soaring a couple of months ago, have crashed here, probably due to increased arrivals. Most vegetables were cheaper by at least Rs 5 a kg when compared to rates prevailing 10 days ago. Onions, which were quoting at around Rs 35 some while ago, are now selling at Rs 5-Rs 6 in the wholesale market.
