AMBALA, June 11: Two persons including a one-month old child were murdered’ in two different incidents in Ambala sub-division. The infant was done to death by his father Rampal in village Jaitpura under police station Naggal.
The complaint lodged by Amar Singh, father of Rampal alleged that the infant was taken to a room under construction and was given a poisonous substance. Later, he threw the body of the infant in front of the door of the house, it was charged.
In another case, a farmer, Ranbir Singh was assaulted by his neighbour Ram Sarn and other accomplices with sharp weapons in a cattle shed, injuring him seriously. Ranbir was rushed to the Barara hospital from his village Hambar. Doctors referred him to the PGI, Chandigarh, where he died yesterday.
