NEW DELHI, January 29: Food Corporation of India (HQ) and Delhi Police completed the semi-final line up in the Delhi Hockey Championship here today.

In the knock-out match played at the Shivaji Stadium here today, FCI (HQ) beat Customs 4-3, via tie-breaker to enter the semi-finals at the Shivaji Stadium here today. At the end of the regulation period the teams were tied at 1-1. Dev Shankar struck for Customs in the fifth minute and Satinder Sharma equalised for FCI in the 14th minute. But both teams failed to score any in the second session.

The other teams who had made the grade were FCI (NZ) and Dogra Regiment.

In the second match of the day, Delhi Police beat New Stars 4-1 after the winners led 2-1 at the break. Daljeet Singh opened the account for Delhi Police in the sxith minute and Ram Lubahaya increased the tally by the eighth minute. Dalbir Singh of New Star scored reduced the margin in the 10th minute as the teams went for a break.

Ram Lubahaya, on resumption, struck the third goal for Delhi Police in the 37th minute and Daljeet Singh once again added to the score in 40th minute. Thus, Delhi Police won the match by 4-1 goal.
