Tina Ambani, former Bollywood actress and wife of industrialist Anil Ambani, has categorically ruled out any plans of a comeback into the film industry or a foray into politics.

Interacting with the media in Nagpur on Tuesday, Ambani said that films were a past for her. “This is my present. I have a future but films are not part of it,” she said.

Ambani was in the city to inaugurate the local branch of a pre-school chain of which she is one of the directors.

Replying to another question, Ambani said, that she had never thought of entering politics, as several other actors have done. “Politics may interest others but not me,” she said. She also refused to comment on the ongoing controversy between veteran Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) founder Raj Thackeray
