Harmeet Kahlon finished Day 1 in tied 18th after a round of two-over 74.

•Kolkata: Bangalore lad Abhishek Jha won the strokeplay format of the LG Indian Amateur Golf Tour Goodricke Eastern India Open at the Royal Calcutta Golf Club here on Thursday. Abhishek brought in a card of 1-under 71 to finish with a two-day total of 1-over 145.

Rashid in lead
