FARIDABAD, December 21: In a bizarre accident, two sleeping children were killed and their mother and a sibling seriously injured when a truck rammed into their house in Ballabhgarh late last night. The driver is absconding.
According to the police, the area was enveloped in dense fog and the driver had probably not been able to see where he was going. Kanchan (8) and Sharda Prasad (13) died on the spot while the children’s mother, Supyari, and another child, Vidya (8), received serious injuries. In a separate accident, two persons on a tractor trolley were killed after a truck hit the vehicle from behind on the national highway in Palwal due to the heavy fog last night. The truck driver is absconding.
